Relationship In Motion: How to Invite Limbic Revision by Balancing the Head, Heart & Hara for Lasting Transformation in the Real World

2014 Symposium
Whole Group Demo with Kathleen Ingram, 1.5 hours

Explore the Powerful Triad of Relationship so you can Remain in Heart Connection while you Actively Move Forward to Get the Job Done!

As a facilitator, do you ever ask yourself these questions?

  • Where do you experience connection and disconnection in relationship?
  • When you disconnect how do you re-engage?
  • Are you able to balance your thoughts, feelings, and actions for effective coaching?

zhomestead21650_603153513040192_1425771959_nIn this powerful session, we will explore together with the horse what real connection looks like. And we’ll use that Connected Limbic Relationship to invite ourselves and our clients into the optimized balance of being fully aligned in our thoughts, feelings, and actions!

Through a live demonstration with horses, you’ll see the impact of Limbic Connection as you watch a three-phase session unfold, with the overall purpose of enhancing our Inner Alignment- because when we can align our Head, Heart, and Hara, while in relationship, we create a win-win outcome for all involved!

Beginning with a volunteer’s first “meet and greet with the horse,” you’ll begin to see the signs of Limbic Resonance. As we proceed through a full “reflective round pen” session, you’ll discover the power of Limbic Regulation from horse to human. From this YIN experience of BEING together, we’ll move into an activity which requires the YANG action, of DOING. During this experience of “active round pen work”, you’ll discover how client and horse come together for Limbic Revision as they engage in the YIN and YANG of Co-Creation, while being coached to become fully aligned through Head, Heart & Hara.

During our time together you’ll discover:

  • zuma-round-pen-EDHow horses and humans come together to create Limbic Connection which opens the door for Limbic Revision
  • Ways to increase your ability to notice and support the process of graceful connection and disconnection within yourself and your clients
  • How to successfully employ both reflective and active aspects of equine work for limbic revision that lasts into daily life
  • How to help your clients balance The Head, The Heart and The Hara (our power center) for ultimate outcomes that are a win-win-win!
  • How to use your own body as a Sensing Device to best guide the session for optimum impact
  • Ways to support the client to distinguish between Outside Fear and Inside Fear/Vulnerability to be able to walk through the door of vulnerability for positive and long lasting outcomes
  • How to support the Dance of Relationship with the client and the Horse
  • Ways to help the client find “the nugget” from the session and anchor it in their body as a resource for the rest of their life

Join in this session to experience how you can hold the “Sacred Space of Possibility” for true connection and change to happen for the horse and the client. By constantly using your own body as a “sensing device” and suspending your judgments & personal agendas, you’ll “check your ego” at the barn door and be in collaboration with the horse. Then positive outcomes will develop. You sessions will flow with ease and your clients will become your best referral source as they walk through the world with more confidence, balance, and joy!
